When did you first start surfing?
I first started when I was around 15 at Carita Beach using my brothers’s board. It was school holidays and I was still living in Jakarta so I couldn’t surf everyday. At first I tried by myself and even though I nose-dived I didn’t give up. The next school holidays my brother took me to Bali and I went surfing at Halfway – Kuta. You know what the waves at Halfway are like….from then I wanted to keep surfing.
 
Who do you usually surf with now?
I surf with my friends and the Kuta beach surfers….they are so sick~!!

What was your first Surf Board? Do you remember?
It was an Avelino abatos size 6'8 board from Brazil. I bought it secondhand from a friend.

Where do you usually surf now?
At  Halfway and in front of Alam Kul-Kul

Your favourite point break and why...??
I can’t explain, you have to feel it yourself....heheheeee!!!, That’s why only Surfers know the feeling.

Where was your best surfing experience?
One day after Nyepi I surfed at Balian… I got so many great waves....hahaaa  I felt so stoked. I’ll never forget it!!

What’s your worst experience while surfing?
The first time I surfed Ulus with my friend  Gidy Amazon. The waves were HUGE so I was scared to take off. Once I took off I got caught by the current and it was hard to get back to the cave….huuuff....Thx GOD saved me.

The craziest thing you have ever done?
Emmmmm I surfed naked with my friend Dedix and Gidy at Serangan hahahahhaaaaaa you guys must try it, it’s cooL.

What makes you the happiest  when you’re surfing?
Surfing and my girlfriend  ~Ai~ waiting for me on the beach. But now that doesn’t happen any more ….. she’s gone, but I still love her so much!

Last Question. What puts you in a bad mood?
Exams when I was still at school...that sucks!!
