Kim Bradley Support To Make A Surfing Museum

Kim had just recovered from swollen gums after having a tooth extracted and seemed a bit cheered up by the visit from
his old friend Piping. Kim isn’t as active as he used to be promoting surfing but through his stories about the history of surfing in Indonesia he motivates the young generation to continue their progress not just for themselves but also
for future generations of surfers in Indonesia.

Kim was surprised to hear of the plans to make a surfing museum but he supports the idea fully and thinks that if it is also used to impart information and knowledge about surfing as a water sport it has a lot of potential to become a tourist attraction and give surfing new life.

Many surfers now can survive from their surfing success. “Honestly, I actually live from surfing” he said. Kim also hopes the museum has some connection with the government. “I very much salute I.B Mantra because when he was the governor he gave attention to the surfing community which was quite small back then” he said.

Kim is now busy looking for a collection of clothing he had as a contest competitor and committee member. “I put it at Billabong but after the office moved it disappeared” he said. Kim left the collection there when i t was still under the management of the late Wayan Suwenda but after Billabong changed management and location it disappeared. “I ask whoever has the collection to please return it because it is very important to me” he explained.
