When he was a teenager Duncan started surfing and became addicted to it. He has a skull tattoo on his left arm and at that time only went to school about once a month. Eventually his teacher became angry and would always say the same thing when he saw him, “ if you’re not interested in school you should just leave.” Finally he did what his teacher suggested and left school to concentrate on surfing when he was 17.

 

If Duncan meets that teacher again he will thank him for helping him to make the decision to leave school (haha – ed). Since he left school he has been very successful, “lucky I left school so that I could do what I’m doing now. I can surf every day, I have lots of ‘bule’ friends, my English has improved so that I can go overseas, I am really happy.”

 

Duncan is also a musician (ehmz – ed). He is the guitarist and vocalist in the punk/rock n roll band ‘Siesta Time’. He spends his days playing x-box, futsal and watching HBO at home. We asked him about his tattoos. He has 4 tattoos now, the first one he got when he was only 14 (wow..so tough, so young- ed). We heard you changed some of them including one with the name of an ex-girlfriend, covered up with flowers (ooopz…from a reliable source, hehehe…-ed)

 

A bit embarrassed, Duncan was hesitant to say that he is single at the moment. He’s a big fan of Megan Fox and Brad Pitt and said that he can’t have a local girlfriend because he insists on having a western girlfriend (wah…wah…-red)
