Year 2005 was his first year learning to enjoy the waves. Only with courage and some lessons from his brother, this teenager who is usually called Dex Boy reached the board and went to the coral waves (wow!). “I was so excited to stand on the board!” he said. Few months were enough for him to learn surfing and enjoying the waves. Admitted that he loves surfing because it’s a hobby and also because his house is near the beach. The Peak is still the favorite surfing spot for this science high school student. Though he seriously dreams of surfing in other Mentawai and Bali’s perfect waves.

Just like other grommets’ goals, being a pro surfer and going around the world are his biggest motivations from surfing. Looking from his surfing trip experiences, this young man who used to dream of being a president already had a trip to Thailand, even though he had to be satisfied by only going through round 2 in the surfing contest there. But for local contests, he successfully became the first winner in Aceh surfing contest last August, and also became the fourth winner in Aceh Beach Games II.

The unique fact is that beside this big fan of Dede Suryana and Andy Iron is crazy for surfing, he also likes golf. And the reason is, again, because his house is near a golf field. Other than surfing and golf, he likes music. He listens to hip-hop a lot. He also plays guitar and can do some slowrock music. Because he’s a young man, of course he loves to hang out, too. His favorite spot is Sunset Surf Café, just going there to have some fun, chit-chatting with friends, or playing domino.

But bad news for MW female readers, because this surfer is already in a relationship with … well ok, for your information, for you local surfer girls with dark skins are not in the criteria of this Luna Maya’s fan. Because he likes pretty and western looks.
