3 November, 2009 – Keramas-Bali:  In a tense and highly competitive quarterfinal matchup today at the 6 Star Prime Quiksilver Open 2009 at Keramas Beach in Bali, Lee Wilson narrowly defeated ex pro World Tour surfer Jake Paterson to become the 2009 Coca Cola ISC Men’s Open Champion and regain the title he lost to Dede Suryana last year.

2 September, Taliwang-West Sumbawa: In a final that provided the best surfing conditions of the day, Rahtu Suargita slotted into a beautifully glassy double-barrel wave and exited to post a 9.25, the highest scoring wave of the day, on his way to his first ISC Tour win at the inaugural Rip Curl Scar Reef Pro in West Sumbawa over fellow Balinese Garut Widiarta.

Bruce Irons (HAW) has defeated fellow finalist Fredrick Patacchia (HAW) to claim the 2008 Rip Curl Pro Search in rifling four-foot (1.5 metre) lefthanders ‘somewhere’ in Indonesia.

Irons, who took down reigning ASP World Champion Mick Fanning (AUS) and Dream Tour sophomore Ben Dunn (AUS) en route to his Finals berth, came from behind in last 10 minutes of the event, grabbing an 8.33 and a 9.33 to scalp his first ASP World Tour victory.

Keanu Asing (Hawaii/Oahu) today won the Billabong Pro Junior Canggu event in Bali Indonesia, defeating Australia’s Ice Periera (Gold Coast/Coolangatta) in an entertaining and high quality final.

20 August, Legian-Bali:  In a day jam packed with riveting duals between Indonesia’s best pro surfers, Dede Suryana came out on top in a toe-to-toe final exchange with last year’s ISC Champion Lee Wilson to take a well-deserved victory at Padma Beach Bali on Tuesday afternoon in front of the cheering fans on the beach.

Garut Widiarta, at his home break of Kuta Beach, blitzed his way to an Indonesian Independence Day victory in the 6-star Coca-Cola ISC Tour Oakley O ROKR Pro over 2007 ISC Champion Lee Wilson in difficult 1-2 foot low tide conditions.

With his win today at Kuta Reef, Ketut “Mega” Yoga Semadhi became the first Balinese surfer to climb atop the podium in a Billabong Pro Junior Series competition, taking on a strong field of international Pro Juniors and coming back to the beach with a hard fought victory.
