How did you start working at No Fear?
I was recommended by a friend who worked there. I am a graphic designer and at that time No Fear needed a designer.

It’s all good because there are so many good people in the office here who have supported me from the beginning and helped me if I was confused  ha ha ha…thank you guys!

Tell us about yourself
I was born in Bandung and lived in Bangladesh for a few years and then grew up in Jakarta. I went to school at ESMOD Jakarta for 3 years to study fashion design and pattern making and I had a small workshop for 5 years while I worked as a freelance stylist for Production House and several fashion magazines.

I’m from Jakarta.....I came to Bali in 1998 and lived and worked with my aunty in Seminyak...then in 2000 I applied at CV Bali Balance who held the licence for Billabong, Element and Von Zipper at that time. Now the licence is held by Billabong Australia so PT Billabong Indonesia holds the licences for Billabong, Element, Von Ziper, Kustom, Nixon and others.

An engineering background education person who turns to an artist, named Fudin was born in Jember. He is a surfboard artist. His ability in paint surfboard tempts surfing company. Moreover, Rip Curl hired Fudin to design a surfing contest poster.
