3 November, 2009 – Keramas-Bali: In a tense and highly competitive quarterfinal matchup today at the 6 Star Prime Quiksilver Open 2009 at Keramas Beach in Bali, Lee Wilson narrowly defeated ex pro World Tour surfer Jake Paterson to become the 2009 Coca Cola ISC Men’s Open Champion and regain the title he lost to Dede Suryana last year.

(Malaysia, December 21, 2008): Cherating Beach local Mamat climbed atop the podium this afternoon to accept his first place Men's Open Division victory after a brilliant display of surfing under testing conditions in the closely contested final. He received the grand prize of a new Billabong surfboard, a Nixon watch, Billabong backpack, T-shirt, and boardshorts.

Akiko Kiyonoga raced through four rounds of surfing in the Women's surfing event of the Asian Beach Games at Kuta Beach to claim a gold medal for Japan today. The silver was taken home by Indonesia's Yasniar Gea.

Yuta Morimoto from Japan put on an exciting display of Lonboarding expertise at Kuta Beach today, pulling the top combination score of the surfing competition and a 9 point ride, breaking out numerous trips to the nose and back and mixing it up with big turns, floaters, and cutbacks to come back to the beach with Japan's first surfing Olympic gold medal.
Indonesia's Dede Suryana completely dominated the Aerial competition at the Asian Beach Games in Bali today. Suryana leapt to the lead in the first heat of the day and consistently outscored his opponents in every subsequent heat through to the final, racking up 8 and 9 point waves with regularity and leaving the rest of the field far behind.
